With all the free dress up sites out there, you have lots of them to choose from without having to pay to play.

Players build a town in Ancient Greece in friendly competition with each other. But there is a catch for both architects - each building has to be surrounded by the appropriate scenery or points will be deducted. Tiles are laid out in an alternating pattern, kind of like a chess board. Tiles alternate between building tiles on one diagonal and landscape tiles on the other. As soon as a building with your house is surrounded, you get 1 point if all the landscapes match, but you lose 1, 2, or 3 points if 1, 2, or 3 of the surrounding landscapes do not match. You can remove your house to reduce this loss, but at the end of the game, you get 1 point per house on your longest diagonal group of houses.

  • For 2 players
  • Playtime of 30 to 45 minutes
  • Ancient Grecian theme
  • Tile placement game
  • Town building

How Can I Copy Wii Games? Here's The Easy Way To Make Copies Of Your Games

Are you wondering if there is a way to copy Wii games? If you are - you're not alone! We have been getting a number of emails about this so we decided to write a quick article about copying Wii games.

Now we should point out right off the bat that we are not advocating making illegal copies of games that you don't own. We hope you use this information to make backup copies of the games you already own - something which is completely legal.

There's a good chance that at some point in time you have used your CD burner to copy or burn a music CD. But as you probably know, you can't use the same burning program to make copies of video games.

Why is this?

Because video game discs use a form of "copyright protection" that prevents your computer from being able to make a copy. The discs don't "make sense" to your computer so it isn't able to recognize what needs to be copied.

When there's a problem, someone's going to find a solution! That's exactly what certain software companies have done - there are now programs that are able to "punch-out" the guards on video games. When you install this software, your computer is able to read the data that is on video game discs.

One quick point - these programs can copy xbox 360, PS3 and any other video games that are on discs. It's not only for making Wii game copies.

Once it's installed on your computer it's extremely easy to use. You insert the original Wii game you want copied and let your computer produce an "image" of the disc on it's hard drive. You then put in a blank disc and the computer will transfer the image onto it - this gives you a perfect copy.

Making copies of Wii games is a great way to protect any game you already have - if you ever lose or damage it at least you have a backup. By using the right software you can copy Wii games whenever you like just by using the CD burner on your computer. Good luck!

Wii Games - Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games

I recently borrowed Mario And Sonic At The Olympics Games from a friend. I was a little bit skeptical about whether the game was going to be any good. My first thoughts were that the title of Mario And Sonic At The Olympics Games did sound very inspiring, and I thought that it was either going to be stupidly easy or too much hard work.

After playing for just half an hour, I got over my initial irritations and found the game to be exciting, competitive, active and surprisingly comprehensive.

Just to mention my small irritations at the beginning. I felt that the individual games took too long to load, and I got a bit frustrated that I couldn't get some of the Wii remote moves correct at the beginning. I soon overcame this as I got more used to the controls, and as you get into the competition spirit, you are bound to enjoy the scenes of being awarded medals and put on pedestals much more. The game soon transforms to a personal quest.

The most surprising part of the game for is how clever the graphics are. The quality of the story scenes when you see all of the different Nintendo characters in their glory are exceptional. You have to see it to believe it. If like me you are not very familiar with the Nintendo characters other than Mario and Sonic, then you will love meeting all of the Nintendo gang in this game. You will soon learn of their personalities and foibles, and figure out which avatars are best for specific Olympic Games.

When you first load up Mario And Sonic At The Olympics Games, you will be entertained by a 'movie trailer' tour of the "Beijing Olympic stadium" and a snapshot of all of the cool competitions that lie ahead.

I think that the best place to get started is in 'Single Match Mode' where you can play single games such as the Aquatics 100m Freestyle, Fencing, Shooting and more at beginners level. This will help to get your skill levels up and ready to take on the Circuits and Missions. You will notice lots of question mark boxes in the different events categories. This indicates that there are lots more games to unlock. You can unlock these by completing the Circuits (three events together) in 'Circuit mode'. You will need to gain 1st place and the gold trophy to win more games.

There is so much fun and exercise to be had with the different Olympic events. The game is really easy to use as there are on screen instructions for each event. You just have to master them! My favourite competition events so far are the trampoline, skeet and dream race. My favourite character and event combo is Dr. Eggman and the Triple Jump as he looks so utterly ridiculous with his long bandy legs!

Enjoy, but don't get too tired. Try combining active games such as track with more 'leisurely' events like Shot-put!

Educational Wii Games - 2009

Wii games are known to be extremely entertaining, which is their most basic appeal.  This is also the case when it comes to the category of Educational Wii Games - they are not boring or trite my any means, and it's this aspect of the educational style of games that makes them quite popular with kids and adults alike.

At this point of writing (May 2009), there are just a few educational Wii games on the market to choose from, but the ones that are available have a number of appealing factors about them.  Here are two of the top sellers in terms of popularity and high consumer ratings:

Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree - This set of games focuses on a few areas including math, visual recognition and various memory activities.  In all of these activities, players are made to think quickly which is part of the overall challenge.  It's good for kids as well as adults and is a popular game for families to play together as well as providing "mental challenge competitions" for group gatherings.

Smarty Pants for Wii - Rather than having one or a few specific focuses in terms of learning, this is a general information trivia type of a game.  This is my personal favorite of the Wii educational games specifically for kids to play since it bases its questions upon age (entered early on in the game), making it specific to a particular learning level.  This makes it a great choice for kids and adults too.

Both of these educational Wii games are created for players approximately 8 years and older, and are a great choice whether you're looking for fun and mentally challenging games for kids or adults.

Download Free Wii Games

The new Wii console has become increasingly popular over recent time, which has led to a vast amount of people wishing to know if they can download free Wii games.

When conducting a simple search online, there are a wide variety of sites that offer Wii game downloads and the possibilities of obtaining the games. However, it is very difficult to decipher as to whether these particular sites are in fact reliable as well as being virus free and providing games that are of quality.

Older games as well as new releases will be offered on good Wii sites. The Wii's support for classic Nintendo games signify that you have the ability to download your old favorites, as well as demanded new games.

If downloading free Wii games is something that you wish to do, then do a search for a site offering a good variety of different games. Never give your personal information or money to a site that you do not trust, or one that does not feel quite right. Remain with sites that have been well designed and will not sell your personal information or overload your computer with malware.

You will generally find that there are two different kinds of websites that offer Wii game downloads. With some, you are charged for every download that you make. Whereby others will allow you access to an unlimited number of downloads for a one-time flat rate.

Depending on how many games you require, should depend on which kind of website you select. If you wish to download extensive Wii games, then the offer of unlimited downloads would be the best choice for you. If you require only one special Wii game that you cannot locate anywhere else, then it may be a better choice to pay only for that download which will be cheaper.

Certain websites may require that you download special software in order to download free Wii games. This software may either connect you to the main server of that site, or it may connect you to other users of the site, which will enable you to download the Wii games that you require.

It is important that you remember to play downloaded games on your computer. You will also need to be able to locate an emulator that operates in exactly the same way that the Nintendo console would.

It is simple to locate a website that you can download free Wii games from, however, the selection of the site from which you wish to download the games from can be a little more difficult.

Check all available sites with caution before you select one for downloading. Once you have selected the website of your choice, then you could be downloading your favorite Wii games within only a few minutes of registering.

Here's How You Can Copy Wii Games Or Copy Xbox Games - How to Make Backups of All Your Games

The Nintendo Wii is unlike any other video game system which has come before; it has generated an unprecedented level of popularity. It should come as no surprise to anyone that there are a lot of people who want to copy their Wii games as a backup in case of damage, loss or theft.

These games typically come in the form of a disc which looks like any other CD - but they cannot be as copied as easily as a music CD. The process is a little more complicated; keep reading for some tips on copying Wii games and a guide on when you should and should not back up a given Wii game disc.

The software which you use to rip and burn CDs doesn't work to copy Wii games. Nero, Roxio and other common CD burning software can't copy these discs due to the copy protection which is encoded on the disc. This encryption keeps your computer from reading the disc.

Like any other copy protection developed to date, someone quickly cracked the encryption. You can find programs which are capable of reading the encrypted Wii game discs.

When you have this software, copying Wii games becomes a relatively simple process. Your computer will now be able to read the copy protected data on the disc. It's not just Wii discs which can be read using this type of software, but also Xbox 360 and PS3 games.

Many games made for PCs also use encryption which can be cracked with this software. If you have multiple gaming systems, you can use this software to make backups of these games as well as your Wii games.

Once you have the necessary software to break the encryption on the disc, you can copy the game to your hard drive as a disk image. Then you can burn a discussing this image just as you would with any other, using the CD burning software of your choice.

In many cases, these programs have copying and burning capabilities built in as well as decryption functionality. This makes it less likely that you'll run into trouble copying Wii games.

There are a lot of options available for copying Wii games now which make the process quick and easy. Making a backup of your games is a great idea - you'd hate to lose your games to accidental damage or loss; copying Wii games keeps your games safe and sound.

Most Popular Wii Games This Christmas

Christmas Day is fast drawing close and the hunt for the perfect present will soon be underway. If you're getting a present for someone who loves Wii, I have a list of this season's most popular Wii games.

One Wii game that has been most highly anticipated is the celebrated Sim City game series. With "Sim City Creator", you will be able to build your own city as well as producing and executing a few nightmare natural catastrophes. Utilise the Wii Remote to whip-up whirlwinds, smash up the Hand of God on constructions, or roll out a monster Katamari-like ball of devastation over the entire metropolis.

As for fans of the infamous Mario game, "Mario Kart Wii" boasts Wii specialized movement commands. You will be able to select classic Nintendo characters or construct an individualized Mii and contend with as many opponents that you want. If you utilise the Wii Wheel with the Wii Remote, you can execute some awe-inspiring acceleration tricks, simply by vibrating the controllers.

Next up, the highly popular Guitar Hero. It first made its appearance on the Wii last year and a very successful hit. This year, "Guitar Hero World Tour" promises to be even better. With the addition of a microphone and drums, this should definitely be one of the games to get this Christmas.

"Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party" is the sort of game that is just perfect for the Nintendo Wii. It's amusing, it's interactive and with 40 fresh min-games operated by sitting down and turning on the Wii Balance Board, it's the perfect game for a Christmas party.

Lastly, even though the Wii Fit has been around for a while, it is still a very good choice for a Christmas gift. The balance board for the game can be used to practise aerobics, yoga, and almost any other physical activity that could give you a good workout. I'm sure we could do with a few less calories after all that partying!

These are just some of the more popular Wii games that I recommend to get. Of course, there are still plenty out there, so do feel free to let us know if you chance upon an awesome game!

Fix-it-up - Kate's Adventure Game Review

Think of some businesses that weren't yet depicted in a time management game and I bet you'll find less of the obvious ones. Fix-it-up: Kate's Adventure is a time management game about a business that many casual game developers had missed out, a car rental and customization shop. This time, the game stars a girl named Kate, and her unparalleled love for cars.

In Fix-it-up: Kate's Adventure, Kate had just come back to town to work for his father's beat-down car rental and service center. However, it really won't be much of an adventure if Kate will be planting her roots in just one town, and that's why she's off to make use of her talents on various places across the nation. You have to follow our heroine and help her reach her goal of being the best. That means being the richest too, since in business, money is the way all of them keep score.

Your objective for each level of the game is summarized in the goals menu at the left side of the screen. Complete all of the goals within the time limit and you'll be able to clear the level. Goals will have you dragging cars all over the shop. Waxing, repairing and tuning cars are just some of the many tasks you will be asked to complete. And for you to earn money, either you keep them parked for rent or put them up for sale.

Buying and selling cars is an exercise when you need big money and the trick is always to buy low and sell high. Fix-it-up: Kate's Adventure helps you determine the best deals by showing you if the deal is great or unfair and a fine array of car information so that you'll know what you can improve for the car after you bought it. Afterwards, it's just a matter of clearing the goals within time, or if you're up to the challenge, complete them within Prime Time, the yellow bar of the game clock you can reach if you want extra free upgrades done on your shop after each level.

How To Remove A Stuck Game From Xbox 360

Halo 3 is stuck inside your Xbox 360 and you want to get it out. There is a way to manually remove it. First you will want to unplug the power for a few minutes to let your Xbox reset. Re-attach the power cord and see if you can now eject your DVD.

If that did not work turn the power off and unplug it. Remove the faceplate on you Xbox console. You will need a thick paper clip or something similar. Straighten one end of it out. With the faceplate removed you will see 2 small holes right underneath the DVD player and one hole to the right.

Since Microsoft decided to use 3 different DVD drives the procedure will vary. If you have a Samsung or Toshiba drive use the small hole on the right. Should be right underneath the X on the DVD drive faceplate. Push your straightened paper clip in the hole until you feel it hit the gear. The gear needs to be spun from left to right. Poke around until you find it then push in gently until you feel it move. You will see the tray start to move out.

For Hitatchi DVD drives go for the first hole on the left. Beng DVD drives will use the middle hole. This requires the most pressure to get the gear to turn. You will see the tray start to move take your time and do not push too hard in case you are missing the correct spot. Once the tray starts to eject you can pull on it slightly to help it open. You should now be able to remove your Game.

So why did your game get stuck in the first place? There are a number of reasons for this. If you are having loading problems you may have a broken gear. There are a number of other plastic parts inside the DVD drive that can break. You are probably better off replacing the entire drive. Replacements are a lot cheaper the replacing your entire console.

Once you have your console opened up removing and replacing the drive is fairly easy. If the above procedure did not get your disk removed you can remove the DVD cover and get your disk out.

Repairing your game console is really not that hard is you take your time and follow a few guidelines. You should also get a hold of a good repair guide or manual.

10 Rare and Expensive Nintendo NES Games

The Nintendo NES was the first video game system for many gamers and is dear to their hearts because of the great gaming memories it provided. A few of those NES games are also rare and sell for quite a bit of money today. Below is a list of the ten most rare Nintendo games and why they are so expensive.

1. Nintendo World Championsip Gold - $10,000 - Gray - $4,000
Nintendo World Championship is the most expensive video game of all time. It was made as part of a nationwide video game contest Nintendo ran in 1990. The winners of the content received the Gold cartridge, so there are only 26 in existence. The gray cartridge was used to run the contest and there are 90 of those available. Both games are sought after collectibles and fetch a huge premium on the resale market.

2. Bubble Bath Babes - $1,000
An unlicensed game made for the Nintendo system. The game was published by Panesian and for adults only. Nintendo didn't approve them for release but Panesian made it anyway. It was sent via mail-order only and probably sold fewer than 1,000 copies.

3. Peek-A-Boo Poker - $950
Another unlicensed adult game for the NES. The game is a basic poker game with some adult themes. It was sold only through mail-order too and is nearly as popular as Bubble Bath Babes. The games are known to be very bad, but they are still coveted by collectors because they are so rare.

4. Myriad 6 in 1 - $800
Myriad made a collection of six games on one cartridge and published it without Nintendo's approval. The company went bankrupt during production and never produced many copies. The same game was also re-released as Caltron 6-in-1. It has different packaging but is just as rare.

5. Cheetahman II - $400
The last of the unlicensed games to make the list, Cheetahman II was a sequel to a game that didn't sell very well. The company never officially released the 1,500 copies they made but were sold to the public eventually. The game is well renowned for being one of the worst games ever made, but it still sells for hundreds of dollars because it is so rare.

6. Stadium Events - $400
Stadium Events was released to the general public but recalled soon afterwards so Nintendo could release the game themselves as "World Class Track Meet". Only several hundred copies of this game ever made to gamers before they were sent back to the publisher and destroyed.

7. Bubble Bobble Part 2 - $80
Bubble Bobble Part 2 was released at the very end of the NES's life, two years after the Super Nintendo was released. Because it came out so late the game didn't sell very well. Most gamers had already moved on to the newest games.

8. Little Samson - $70
A very good platforming game, like Super Mario Bros, Little Samson never found an audience when it first came out and sold poorly. Gamers now know how good the game is and pay a premium for the chance to play this great game.

9. California Raisins - $65
California Raisins was finished by its developer in 1991 but was never commercially published because the Raisin's had lost their popularity by then. A few copies eventually made it out in the open, but it is very rare.

10. Dragon Warrior IV - $55
The last Dragon Warrior game made for the NES system, IV's sales were hurt because it came out after people had moved on to the Super Nintendo. Nintendo Power rated the game the 2nd best release the year it came out but that wasn't enough to help sales.

Now that you know the most rare and expensive games for the Nintendo NES, go check your collection and scour garage sales looking for these gaming rarities.

G Switch - Game Review

G-Switch is an incredibly simple game, you merely have to focus on timing and only one button is required. There will be a bionic type man running along platforms with holes in them, there will be some over head and some under foot. When you left click, the gravity will change and your character will start running on the top platform, upside down. Sounds simple enough... however each level becomes progressively harder and you will end up dying several times on the same stretches of the course before you complete a level.

Apart from always being alert to whether your character should be running on the ceiling or ground, there are also areas of the courses where your speed will change. Sometimes you will go slow, the problem with this is usually you will click the mouse too early, with it changing the timing. Other times you will go fast, the problem with this is you will get stuck behind a section of the wall and before you can think the screen has gone ahead of you and you've died. However these changes occur on the same stretches, so you will become use to them eventually.

There are two three types of game play that you can attempt:

Standard levels; one level, avoiding dangerous obstacles and making sure that gravity is pulling your character towards the floor - not falling down, or up. You must also be aware in shifts of speed that are unsuspectingly given throughout the course.

Endless; again one level, yet it never ends. The objective of this is plain and simple. Survive as long as you can to gain the highest possible score. There will be hundreds of difficult parts to the course that you must quickly adjust to on the spot, or else its game over and you will have to start again at the beginning.

Multiplayer; as many as six people may participate in a multiplayer tournament, playing through 6 different levels. The level will stop when either all players have died or a player(s) has completed the course. This is by far the most enjoyable game mode due to the competitiveness, and you won't quit until you're triumphant.

G-Switch is a fun, simple game. It can be played in multiplayer mode, you can gain a high score and you only need to press one button. It utilizes many of the key features required for a successful online game and provides at least a good half hour's enjoyment.
